Goede Ree

South of Rotterdam the villages Middelharnis and Sommelsdijk grew the last decades together and became one urban structure. The central located elderly care facility in Sommelsdijk; ‘De Goede Ree’, build in fifties became vacant after the opening of a brand new care facility. In 2014 we made a redevelopment plan on the location of the De Goede Ree. In the plan we preserved the beauty of the garden of the facility as much as possible. The result is a small neighborhood of 80 dwellings, situated in a park with mature trees and a pond.
