Actively preparing cities and urban structures to the natural impacts of climate change is high on the agenda of all decision makers in the field of water and urban planning. For the biennial Amsterdam International Water Week, resiliency formed one of the main track during the three day conference. I worked together with the organization of the AIWW on making the conference a high level knowledge exchange for all invited professionals and city leaders, representing fifteen cities around the world.
During the conference day representatives from different cities shared their achievements and their challenges still to face with other city representatives and professionals in open round table sessions.
